Senior Backend Developer MERN Stack Remote We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer MERN Stack for a product-based role. The position requires hands-on experience building scalable backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB in production environments. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Node.js, Express. • Design and optimize MongoDB data models, indexing, and query performance. • Integrate internal services and third-party APIs. • Ensure backend scalability, reliability, observability, and security. • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Mandatory Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of software development experience using the MERN stack. • 2 years working with MongoDB in production, data modeling, indexing, performance tuning. • Strong experience developing REST APIs in Node.js, Express.js. • Experience working with microservice-based architectures. • Proven background in a product-based or SaaS environment. Preferred Not Mandatory: • Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Git. • Ownership from development to deployment. • Exposure to React Native, backend integrations. Work Setup: Remote, 5 days week, Maximum Notice Period 30 days.
