Number of Openings: 1 Compensation: At par with the industry Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer (.NET) to architect and build scalable backend systems for our Learning Management System (LMS), assessment engines, and video-based learning platforms. The role involves designing robust APIs, managing complex educational data, and ... ensuring highperformance and availability for learners, instructors, and administrators. Key Responsibilities • Design and own the overall .NET backend architecture for LMS and digital learning platforms • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for courses, enrollments, assessments, certifications, and user progress tracking • Architect and optimize assessment engines including quizzes, exams, question banks, scoring logic, and result analytics • Design and manage database schemas for users, courses, content, attempts, results, and reports • Build scalable services to support video-based learning, including content access control and tracking watch progress • Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability during high-traffic events such as live classes and online exams • Implement secure authentication and role-based authorization (students, instructors, admins) • Collaborate with frontend, mobile, product, and content teams to deliver end-to-end learning solutions • Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor backend developers • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues Required Skills & Qualifications • 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET technologies • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET, ASP.NET Web API • Proven experience building API-driven, scalable platforms • Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases • Expertise in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning • Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM tools • Strong understanding of backend architecture, security, and design patterns • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows Preferred Qualifications • B.Tech CS/IT , MCA • Prior experience with LMS platforms, assessment engines, or EdTech products • Experience designing high-concurrency systems (online exams, live sessions) • Knowledge of microservices architecture • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) • Exposure to video streaming workflows, content delivery, or media integration • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices What We Offer • Opportunity to build scalable platforms impacting thousands of learners • Competitive compensation and benefits • Ownership of core backend systems and architecture • Collaborative, innovation-focused work environment • Strong career growth and leadership opportunities
