Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)

About the job

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain scalable backend services using .NET Core / .NET Framework. • Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. • Design and optimize distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark. • Deploy and manage microservices using Kubernetes. • Integrate backend systems with Azure Data Lake for efficient data storage and analytics. • Work extensively with Cosmos DB for high-performance, globally distributed data solutions. • Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, and frontend developers. • Ensure backend services are secure, performant, and reliable. • Participate in agile development processes, code reviews, and architecture discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proficiency in .NET Core / .NET Framework. • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Data Lake, Event Grid, etc.) • Hands-on experience with Cosmos DB (mandatory). • Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts. • Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing. • Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration. • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integrations. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
