Senior Backend Engineer - Node.JS

About the job

As a Senior Backend Engineer - Node.JS at FreeCharge DBAT, you will be an integral member in the development and deployment efforts for enterprise application projects aimed at solving complex business problems. Your responsibilities will include writing idempotent, testable, debuggable, intelligible, and documentable code and test cases using technologies like JavaScript or any other programming language. You will collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support engineers in an agile development environment to improve systems by integrating existing solutions and building new technology. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver on key initiatives from ideation through requirement definition, analysis, technical specifications, development, and product delivery. - Write idempotent, testable, debuggable, intelligible, and documentable code and test cases using JavaScript or other programming languages. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment. - Improve systems by integrating existing solutions and building new technology. Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency with JavaScript. - Strong proven experience with Node.JS and Express. - Experience in building APIs using Node.JS. - Strong proficiency working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with event-driven and Microservices architectures. - Experience with implementing run-time architecture services (caching, logging, etc.). - Experience collaborating with team members and managing team members. - Experience with Test Driven Development and Domain Driven Design is a plus. - Familiarity with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and working in AWS Cloud Environment is a bonus.
