Our client, a prominent name in the FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Brand Manager to lead their beverage portfolio in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, IN. This role is pivotal in driving brand growth, market share, and profitability through innovative marketing strategies and insightful consumer understanding. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in brand management, a deep understanding of the beverage market, and exceptional leadership skills. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans, managing product launches, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to drive growth and market penetration for the beverage portfolio. - Conduct in-depth market research and consumer analysis to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities. - Create and execute integrated marketing plans, including advertising, promotions, digital marketing, and public relations. - Manage product development and innovation pipeline, including concept generation, feasibility assessment, and launch execution. - Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all channels. - Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and effective ROI. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, supply chain, and agencies, to ensure alignment and successful execution of brand initiatives. - Monitor brand performance metrics, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). - Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility. - Lead and mentor junior marketing team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. - Stay abreast of competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging consumer behaviors. - Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to support sales objectives. - Manage relationships with external agencies (advertising, PR, digital) to ensure effective campaign execution. - Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the FMCG division. - Ensure brand compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
