Title: Senior Brand Manager Location: Bengaluru (Onsite | No Remote) Reporting to: AVP – Brand Experience: 8–10 years Compensation- Upto 30 LPA Brand Overview The brand is rethinking a legacy home category that has seen very little real innovation for decades. Rather than approaching the market as a conventional consumer brand, the organisation is building from first principles combining deep engineering, real-world operating experience, and a sharp understanding of how modern Indian homes function. Backed by long-term institutional investors known for building category-defining consumer businesses, the brand has strong conviction in solving fundamental problems rather than superficial differentiation. Before entering consumer homes, the team built and deployed tens of thousands of appliances in commercial environments shaping a DNA rooted in reliability, safety, and performance. The organisation is now scaling its consumer presence, particularly offline, with ambitions to build new categories, not copy existing ones. The culture is hands-on, ownership-led, and outcome-focused. People work close to decisions, are trusted with responsibility, and are encouraged to build work that compounds over time. Role Overview As the brand enters its next phase of growth, there is a need for a senior brand leader who can balance long-term brand building with near-term business impact. This role exists for someone who wants to shape the brand’s voice, narrative, and presence at scale across products, campaigns, retail, and culture inside a company that is still being built, not maintained. As Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the brand strategy across touchpoints, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver brand-led growth, while acting as the internal custodian of the brand. This is a high-ownership role that blends strategy, storytelling, execution, and measurement. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Brand Leadership - Own and evolve brand positioning, narrative, and communication strategy - Balance long-term brand equity with short-term business and growth goals - Translate brand strategy into clear, actionable briefs - Integrated Campaign Management - Lead 360° brand campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, social, influencer, PR, and retail - Oversee product launches, seasonal initiatives, and brand moments - Work closely with creative, media, and production agencies to deliver high-quality output - Consumer & Market Understanding - Develop a deep understanding of Indian consumers, homes, and cultural context - Use research, insights, analytics, and social listening to identify whitespace opportunities - Business-Driven Brand Marketing - Drive awareness, consideration, and preference through brand initiatives - Ensure creative and media investments are linked to business outcomes - Measurement & Effectiveness - Define and track brand KPIs (brand health, campaign effectiveness, recall, salience) - Use performance data and learnings to refine strategy and execution - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner closely with Product, Sales, Growth, Performance Marketing, Retail, and PR teams - Ensure brand consistency across consumer touchpoints - Brand Governance - Own brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity - Ensure consistency across content, packaging, retail, and communications - Team & Stakeholder Leadership - Mentor junior team members and creative partners - Build a culture of strategic thinking, ownership, and accountability Mandatory Skills - 8–10 years of experience in brand marketing - Background in consumer brands (FMCG, D2C, appliances, lifestyle, or tech) - Proven experience leading integrated campaigns and product launches - Strong agency management experience (creative, media, production) - Strategic thinker with sharp creative judgment - Comfortable operating in fast-scaling, high-ownership environments Preferred Traits - You think beyond campaigns and care deeply about brand meaning - You can connect creativity to commercial outcomes - You enjoy building systems, not just assets - You thrive in environments where ownership matters more than hierarchy - You want to build work and a brand that lasts
