Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Senior Business Analyst with 8–10 years of experience in Commercial Data Warehouse (CDW) and analytics. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to define, document, and deliver scalable data solutions that support commercial operations and decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Engage with business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Operations) to gather and analyze requirements. • Translate business needs into detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and data requirements. • Define KPIs, metrics, business rules, and reporting needs for commercial analytics. • Conduct gap analysis and recommend data-driven solutions. Data Warehouse & Analytics • Work closely with data engineering teams on data modeling (dimensional models – fact/dimension). • Define source-to-target mappings (STTM) and data transformation logic. • Support development of Commercial Data Warehouse (CDW) and data marts. • Ensure integration of multiple data sources such as: Sales data (primary/secondary), CRM data, Market data, Customer/HCP/Territory data. Delivery & Testing • Support Agile delivery – backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization. • Develop and execute UAT test cases and validate data accuracy. • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery. Stakeholder & Communication • Act as a bridge between business, data engineering, and reporting teams. • Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and support change management. • Deliver functional walkthroughs, documentation, and user training where required.
