Our client, a rapidly expanding SaaS company, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to join their entirely remote sales team. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and closing significant deals. As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere within India, supported by a dedicated remote infrastructure and team. The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, prospecting for new clients, and nurturing relationships with potential and existing customers. You will conduct in-depth market research to identify target accounts, understand their needs, and present compelling solutions that align with our product offerings. This position requires a strong understanding of consultative selling, negotiation skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and market analysis. • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth. • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at target companies. • Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored solutions to prospective clients. • Negotiate and close complex sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both parties. • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine sales messaging and collateral. • Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management. • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities. • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. • Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets and key performance indicators. • Participate in virtual industry events and conferences to expand network and generate leads. • Provide market feedback to product development teams to inform future offerings. • Mentor and support junior sales team members in a remote setting. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry. • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. • Strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling). • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools. • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and results-driven in a remote environment. • Strategic thinking and market analysis capabilities. • Experience in closing multi-year, high-value contracts. • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving market.
