About the job
Responsibilities • To bring in the relevant assortment (brands / SKU’s) and grow the category through the available levers. • Engage with existing vendors and onboard new vendors to improve the business of category. • Constant market scanning of competitive assortments & pricing to identify gaps, threat's and opportunities and taking corrective actions in conjunction with buying, marketing and operations teams. • Ensure that the fill rate and stock out rates are maintained under the prescribed limits. • Managing the process for all inventory returns and their liquidation in line with defined SOPs. • Responsible for analyzing, structuring and solving select business problems. Desired Qualification. • 7+ years of experience in handling end to end category management. • Exposure and understanding of FMCG / Pharma industry (order cycles and customer expectations) will be preferred. • High Levels of Ownership and strong bias for execution. • Proven skills in critically analyzing large volumes of data - a keen eye for identifying trends in data. • Willingness to learn rapidly and be a problem solver. • Extremely hard-working and committed to the cause / values / vision of Nirog Street. Ability to deliver against short timelines in a fast-paced environment. • Collaboration and Team Management skills. • MBA / CA / Btech from premium colleges / university will be preferred.
