Role/ Job Title: Senior Channel Sales Manager - Business Correspondents Job Purpose: This position is responsible for acquiring new merchants by leading a team and driving volume for POS business delivery in assigned geography. Roles & Responsibilities: • Empanel new ISP through explicit governing mechanism & develop relationship with existing ISPs. • Maintain relationships with ISPs by providing support & guidance; researching & recommending new opportunities; recommending profit & service improvements. • Maintain high quality & ethical service by establishing & enforcing IDFC FIRST Bank standard & values. • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities & competitors; Ensure the ISP network is operating within regulatory & legal framework. • Manage a team of 6 to 8 Relationship Managers by supervising, guiding and ensuring productivity at every level of sales in the areas assigned in order to keep the team motivated and yield targeted revenue; Organizing regular meeting (weekly & monthly) with Team to discuss growth, target, achievement, hindrances (if any) & more opportunities. • (Achieving Fee Income Target: OFFUS Fee-income, Fee Income though Remittance Transaction fee/Update charges/interchange etc.) • Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities - Training field staff RM, SRM and ensuring First Time Right (FTR) in all business processes. • Dipstick checking for Quality of Training imparted to Business Correspondents by RM. Compliance practices followed by RO and BC at state level. Re-Training in case of any deficiency observed. • Verification of all tools used by Team Members in the field i.e. RO’s sales pitch, bank product & services, product knowledge, process knowledge, providing access to various product/applications etc. • Shall conduct surprise visits and provide feedback on BC operations.
