Join our Finance Transformation practice to help Deloitte client service teams define and execute Finance and Global Business Services agendas and strategies. You will work with world-class teams and insights, helping support delivery in challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to help unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate with teams to enable transforming finance. Position Summary Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will deliver high-quality work products and solutions, collaborating with client teams and supporting project delivery within specified timelines. You may direct or mentor junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. Work you’ll do: You will apply specialized accounting and financial reporting standards across industries, utilize financial product sub-ledgers, and help develop innovative digital solutions. You’ll assist in designing accounting data models, support mapping legacy to new finance models with Deloitte tools, and leverage Tier 1 technologies like SAP, Workday, and Oracle. Your role includes supporting ERP implementations, optimizing Charts of Accounts, implementing close and reporting systems, as well as assisting with proposals, recruiting, and internal training. You will use technology tools to review and implement products and services efficiently. The team: Controllership & Treasury Transformation (C&TT) is one of the offerings within the Finance Transformation portfolio of Deloitte US India Consulting. This Offering advises, implements, and delivers solution as-a-service relating to digital finance strategies, financial planning and analysis, enterprise performance strategies and technologies solutions. By taking a holistic view of these key business areas from strategy development through process design and technology enablement, we help our clients navigate their challenges while continuing to succeed in their business. Qualifications Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: • Demonstrated passion for innovation and use of Digital Core technologies (e.g., SAP, Workday and/or Oracle; and boundary applications) to solve business issues • Strong communication, presentation, client servicing, and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations, corporate finance, or financial systems architecture knowledge with technology skills • Experience supporting full lifecycle implementations from requirements through deployment with a common ERP package or boundary platform (Workiva, Blackline, Trintech, etc.) OR experience as an administrator of a common ERP package • Configuration experience in one or more of the following financial/data applications: SAP, Oracle, Workday, Workiva, BlackLine, Alteryx, Trintech • 6+ years of technical or advisory-related experience in entity and enterprise accounting, carve-outs, acquisition integrations, and/or technical accounting, controllership, financial planning and analysis, and cost accounting • Experience contributing to requirements gathering, definition development, or business process mapping. • Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: • Experience in executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies • Workday, SAP and/or Oracle certified • CPA, CIA, CFA, CA, CCA, CMA, CAIA, or FRM certification, or working towards achieving one of these certifications • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and SEC rules and regulations • Configuration and implementation of finance/accounting software applications • Project experience in areas such as root cause/gap analysis/best fit, financial modeling, and value mapping • Project experience within a functional area (e.g., Record to Report, Order to Cash) Education: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field • Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, or Accounting
