Position Summary Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. Work you’ll do: As a senior consultant you will act as a functional subject matter expert (SME) for the semiconductor industry, guiding clients through transformational projects. Leveraging deep experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, you will analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design solutions tailored to manufacturing, product engineering, and supply chain challenges. You will bridge the gap between business needs and IT capabilities, facilitating workshops, developing requirements, supporting system implementation, and driving organizational adoption to help clients modernize operations and accelerate innovation in the complex semiconductor landscape. The team: The Enterprise Performance team leverages deep industry knowledge, strong analytical skills, and practical approaches to address clients’ toughest business challenges. Our professionals as part of the Supply Chain Network Operations (SCNO) service line within Enterprise Performance focus on helping organizations achieve sustainable competitive advantage throughout their operations, spanning product development, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. We excel at translating strategic objectives into tangible, measurable outcomes at the operational level. By aligning high-level goals with frontline execution, we ensure our clients realize real value and improved performance across every stage of their supply chain and operations. Qualifications Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: • 8-10 years of experience (For Senior consultant) of working with PLM tools like Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3dX, PTC windchill etc. • Strong understanding of semiconductor industry processes (manufacturing, product engineering, supply chain) • Functional expertise in PLM systems • Business process mapping and analysis, with the ability to translate requirements into technical specifications • Project management and stakeholder engagement, including facilitating client workshops and status meetings • Excellent communication and presentation skills for interfacing with both business and IT teams End-to-end PLM implementation or upgrade projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, and user training • Business process transformation initiatives within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing domain • Cross-functional team collaboration with experience working in Agile and/or waterfall project environments • Organizational change management support—helping drive adoption and process alignment • Data migration and integration experience relevant to PLM systems (a strong plus) Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: • Familiarity with CAD/CAM/CAE systems: Understanding design and engineering tools that integrate with PLM solutions (such as NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks). • Basic scripting or automation knowledge: Comfort with scripting languages to automate processes or support system integrations. • Data analytics and visualization: Proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx) to analyze business data and present actionable insights. • Cloud-based PLM awareness: Understanding of cloud PLM deployment models and SaaS trends. • Process improvement methodologies: Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen techniques for driving operational efficiency. • Change management expertise: Formal training or practical experience in change impact assessment or communications planning. • Global/multi-site project experience: Experience supporting PLM or process change across multiple geographies or business units. • Stakeholder training and enablement: Ability to develop and deliver training programs and user documentation. • Regulatory compliance knowledge: Understanding industry regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH) affecting semiconductor products. • Basic understanding of ERP systems integration: Especially SAP or Oracle, to connect PLM and supply chain processes effectively.
