Role Overview: As a Senior Consultant (Platform Finance) at EY, you will play a vital role in analyzing fund performance and cash flow requirements to determine optimal capital call amounts. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting on the status of capital contributions from investors, communicating with stakeholders regarding capital calls and timelines for fund contributions... Key Responsibilities: - Analyse fund performance and cash flow requirements to determine optimal capital call amounts - Monitor and report on the status of capital contributions from investors - Communicate with stakeholders regarding capital calls and timelines for fund contributions - Provide a structured approach to evaluate investment opportunities and make data-driven decisions - Identify potential risks early in the process, allowing for proactive management and mitigation strategies - Help identify key performance drivers of value and opportunities for operational improvements - Coordinate funding of domestic and international investments, execute capital distributions, and call capital from investors as needed - Review external reporting, including quarterly letters, financial statements, investment memos, and capital calls - Work with the Fundraising and Legal teams to raise, close, and set up reporting infrastructure for new funds - Plan and manage cash levels across fund structures, including reserves forecasting - Manage fund forecast modeling for carry and fee revenue - Perform ad-hoc analysis for the platform deal Partners and VPs Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree major in accounting, finance, or business (CPA, CFA, or MBA, a plus) - 5-10 years of finance experience - Proven track record of presenting complex financial data to senior executives and providing recommendations for critical managerial decisions - Strong financial analytics, data interpretation, and financial modeling skills - Data-driven mindset and ability to add structure to fluid and/or ambiguous requests - Ensures quality of work output by displaying a keen attention to detail - Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment across group lines to achieve goals - Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo while building strong relationships across the Firm - Results-oriented, strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, analysis and reporting of financial data - Resourceful, efficient, and professional with the ability to meet tight deadlines - Proven acumen in leveraging Excel on an expert basis, experience with PowerPoint - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
