Job Title - Senior Data Analyst – Cloud Operations Location - Noida, Sector 62 ( On Site) Experience - 5+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst – Cloud Operations to lead data-driven analytics, reporting, cost optimization insights, audit tracking, and operational governance across Azure, SAP, and multi-cloud environments. This role will partner closely with managers and stakeholders, own end-to-end data deliverables, and drive continuous improvement through actionable insights, dashboards, and compliance reporting. Key Responsibilities: Data Analytics, Reporting & Automation: • Design, develop, and publish daily and weekly Power BI dashboards for operational, financial, and management reporting. • Build and maintain Power Automate workflows and Power Apps to automate reporting processes and improve data efficiency. • Perform advanced data analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting to support business and IT decision-making. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports and analytical outputs. Cloud Data Monitoring & Cost Analytics: • Analyse utilization data for Azure resources including Virtual Machines, storage, networking, Blob Storage, and Azure NetApp Files (ANF). • Evaluate cost and usage data across Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and SAP BTP, and present optimization insights to stakeholders. • Track Azure cost consumption and prepare cost optimization reports, forecasts, and variance analysis. • Analyse and recommend optimal Azure VM usage strategies including Pay-As-You-Go, Reserved Instances, and Savings Plans. • Review and validate Azure resource tagging data (cost centres, technical contacts) and flag gaps for correction. Access, License & Security Data Governance: • Conduct quarterly analytical reviews of Active Directory (AD) groups and service accounts to identify unused or excess access. • Track monthly SAP Secure Login Client access data and follow up with managers for access rationalization. • Monitor and analyse SQL license usage, support Hybrid Benefit recovery, and identify unused licenses for billing optimization. Audit, Compliance & Risk Analytics: • Track and analyse monthly and quarterly audit metrics, prepare summary dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders. • Perform data analysis for quarterly audits related to database support and recovery. • Own audit observations, track remediation progress, and ensure closure through data-backed evidence and documentation. Service Operations & Stakeholder Support: • Monitor and analyse ServiceNow Requests and Incidents, ensuring SLA compliance and data-driven escalation insights. • Act as a key analytical support contact for ad-hoc business and IT data requests. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure operational governance, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement. • Take end-to-end ownership of analytical findings, issues, and action items until resolution. Required Skills & Experience (Must Have): • 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). • 5+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including macros, automation, and complex data analysis. • Working knowledge of SAP (SAP ECC, SAP BTP) with understanding of security and access concepts. • Strong understanding of Azure fundamentals including VMs, storage, networking, cost management, and governance. • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and AWS. • Proven experience in process review, gap analysis, and continuous improvement using data-driven approaches. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in IT Infrastructure or ERP system data analysis. • Exposure to IT audits, compliance reporting, and license analytics. • Prior experience in a Senior Analyst or Lead Analyst role, supporting managers and leadership decision-making.
