Role Overview: You will work as a Senior Data Scientist at Tiger Analytics, a global leader in AI and analytics, where you will tackle cutting-edge data analytics and machine learning challenges across different industries. Your role will involve leading and contributing to the development of advanced machine learning models, predictive analytics, and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems. You will switch between roles of an Individual Contributor, team member, and data science manager as required by each project. Collaboration with clients, cross-functional teams, and staying updated on industry trends will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and contribute to developing sophisticated machine learning models, predictive analytics, and statistical analyses. - Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, identify opportunities for analytics-driven solutions, and communicate findings clearly and promptly. - Take ownership of end-to-end model development, from problem definition and data exploration to model training, validation, and deployment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to integrate analytics solutions into business processes. - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science, bringing innovative ideas to the team and contributing to continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - 6-10 years of total Data Science and model development experience. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and ability to write modular, scalable code. - Strong problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge to solve complex problems effectively. - Comprehensive knowledge of regression and classification concepts, mathematical backend, and SQL. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage complex client situations. - Mentoring expertise in industry/domain/functional areas.
