Our client, a forward-thinking beauty and wellness tech company, is seeking a brilliant Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to join our fully remote team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage vast datasets to drive innovation in personalized beauty recommendations, predictive analytics for product development, and customer behavior modeling. You will be at the forefront of applying advanced ML techniques to enhance user experiences and business intelligence within the rapidly evolving beauty and wellness industry. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models for tasks such as recommendation systems, customer segmentation, churn prediction, and natural language processing (NLP). Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify key trends relevant to the beauty and wellness market. Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate model performance and product features. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in AI, ML, and data science, and apply them to solve business problems. Build and maintain robust data pipelines and automated reporting systems. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to work with a global team. We are seeking candidates with a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong focus on machine learning model development and deployment, is required. Proficiency in Python or R, along with experience in SQL and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop), is essential. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is highly desirable.
