Our client is looking for a highly accomplished Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to join their innovative technology team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, developing sophisticated algorithms and models that drive business value. You will be responsible for the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data acquisition and preprocessing to model development, deployment, and monitoring. The ideal candidate possesses a strong theoretical foundation in statistics, machine learning, and deep learning, coupled with practical experience in solving complex real-world problems. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing machine learning models for predictive analytics, pattern recognition, and natural language processing. You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate AI solutions into existing products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of various ML algorithms, proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, and extensive experience with data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). You will also be involved in evaluating model performance, conducting A/B tests, and communicating findings to stakeholders. We are seeking a candidate who can lead complex projects, mentor junior data scientists, and contribute to the advancement of our AI capabilities. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms is highly desirable. Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with a proven track record in developing and deploying machine learning models. Expertise in various machine learning techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas). Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and database management. Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and hypothesis testing. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data science workloads. Able to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
