Role: Senior Data Scientist - COE Required Technical Skill Set: Consulting, Experience in Data Model, Analytics workspace, Gen AI, Video Analytics Desired Experience Range: 15+ Location of Requirement: India Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have • Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges • Collaborate with Business and IT teams • Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources • Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers • Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions • Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems • Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data • Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems • Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques • Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis • Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms • Presenting results in a clear manner • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner • Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance Good-to-Have • Excellent Communication Skills – it is incredibly important to describe findings to a technical and non-technical audience. • Strong Software Engineering Background • Hands-on experience with data science tools • Problem-solving aptitude • Analytical mind and great business sense Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role 1 Technical consulting for Hyperscalar/IoT Platform based projects 2 Build frameworks that can help delivery teams to standardize code, improve the quality of their deliverables and reduce development time 3 Lead discussions with clients as well as various teams in TCS to articulate client requirements, AWS/IoT Platform solution for the requirement and review to ensure quality of delivery 4 Develop models and prototypes on new concepts to make customers & solution/delivery teams to understand and get an idea of how to fit the concept in their environment 5 Create guidelines & recommendations in the areas of Design, Architecture, Data management, NFRs, etc. that can enable solution/delivery teams to meet industry standards 6 Work with larger part of IoT organization in responding to proposals, addressing technology challenges and technology know-how 7 Involve in consulting assignments to understand customer business needs with respect to IoT, identify opportunities and propose solutions
