Senior Developer / Technical Architect

About the job

We are looking for a senior developer / technical architect to guide and review implementation (not full-time coding). Role Overview This is a part-time advisory / review role (3–5 hrs/week) where you will: • Define and review system architecture • Review database design (PostgreSQL) • Guide subscription & payment flows (Razorpay, webhooks) • Review PRs and critical backend logic • Help de-risk scalability, security, and edge cases • Mentor a junior–mid full-stack developer executing the build Tech Stack • Next.js / React • Node.js / Express • PostgreSQL • Razorpay (subscriptions) • REST APIs, Webhooks, Background jobs Ideal Profile • 7+ years experience in backend / full-stack development • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js + SQL databases • Prior experience with payment gateways / subscription systems • Has mentored junior developers before • Comfortable in an advisory, ownership-light role • Startup / SaaS / e-commerce experience preferred Engagement Details • Part-time: ~3–5 hours per week • Duration: 2–3 months (extendable) • Flexible & remote • Competitive hourly compensation
