The role demands amazing coding skills with great analytical and problem solving thinking. As a core member of the tech team you would be involved in multiple product and platform developments which would strengthen the business presence of HMCL in digital journey. A purpose driven role for you • Design, ideate, architect and develop backend components for web and mobile applications. • Able to design high and low level architecture of Applications which connect to multiple modules. • Create server-side logic and databases. • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software. • Follow processes and standards prescribed. • Implement security and data protection policies. • Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders. • Write technical documentation. • Able to write unit test cases. • Manage a team of 3 to 4 individuals A Day in the life As a 'Senior Engineer Backend' you will design and develop backend components for web and mobile applications. Design Architecture and create server side logic and database. Academic Qualification & Experience ● BE/ B.Tech/MCA ● 3-5 years of experience in related domain Technical Skills/Knowledge ● Strong knowledge and development experience in Core Java, J2EE, RESTful Web Services, Hibernate, Spring, MVC, WSDL, Microservices; ● Strong knowledge of Databases like MySQL, Oracle, COSMOS ● Proficient in Highly scalable system architecture designs ● Knowledge of cloud such as Azure, AWS ● Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements ● Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications ● Experience within scrum teams and familiarity with Agile methodologies ● Develop and maintain documentation of the microservices architecture, including design patterns, best practices and coding standards. ● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Github ● Familiarity with CI/CD, Jira, Postman, Visual Studio ● Familiarity with Database Performance Optimization & Monitoring Behavioural Skills ● Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate details into bigger picture implications driving the business forward, challenging the status quo.
