Key Responsibilities • Strategic Investment Identification: Lead the identification, analysis, and evaluation of potential investment opportunities (M&A, JV, partnerships). • Build financial models to evaluate investment impact. • Conduct market research, competitive landscape, and industry benchmarking. • Evaluate business models and develop investment theses. • Due Diligence and Financial Analysis: Oversee due diligence processes, assess financial performance, operational capabilities, market positioning, and risks. Prepare presentations to provide investment recommendations. • Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Support structuring and negotiation of investment deals, collaborating with legal, finance, and operational teams to secure favorable terms aligned with strategic objectives. • Portfolio Management: Monitor existing investments, track operational and financial metrics, identify value creation opportunities, and support strategic and operational initiatives across portfolio companies. • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, legal teams, external advisors, and potential partners. Requirements • Tertiary qualification or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, strategy, tech, or equivalent. • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking. • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, dynamic environments. • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to ask probing and relevant questions. • Proficient in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH) and MS PowerPoint for presenting insights clearly. • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
