Job Title: Senior Executive – Marketing Function: Commercial Reports To: Head - Branding Location: Head Office, Mumbai Position Overview: The Senior Executive – Marketing (MIS & Brand Management) manages marketing procurement, vendor coordination, POs, invoicing, and MIS reporting to ensure financial control and compliance. The role tracks marketing budgets and spend utilization while supporting brand governance and regional branding approvals in line with Blue Dart guidelines. Acting as a key liaison between Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and agencies, the role ensures smooth operations and consistent brand execution across the organization. Job Purpose: The role is responsible for managing end-to-end Marketing procurement, PO & Invoice of Agency / vendor, MIS for the Marketing function, ensuring seamless coordination with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The position also supports brand governance approvals to CPRs from regions as per Blue Dart brand guidelines across facilities, Vehicle branding and marketing assets, while maintaining financial discipline through effective budget vs. utilization and MIS management. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Procurement & Vendor Management • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for the Marketing function, including vendor onboarding, arranging purchase orders (POs), invoicing, and payment coordination. • Liaise with Procurement, Finance functions and marketing agencies/vendors to ensure timely execution and closure of commercial processes. • Coordinate with internal procurement and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and processes. • Track contracts, commercials, and deliverables with agencies and vendors. 2. Budget & Financial Management • Manage marketing budgets, including tracking spends, utilization, and variances across initiatives. • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure timely closures, reconciliations, and approvals. • Maintain and publish monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports related to marketing spends, POs, and payments. • Coordinate with Finance for accruals, provisions, and all audit requirements. 3. Brand Management & Governance Support • Support brand management CPR approvals from regions for Blue Dart facilities, ensuring consistent brand visibility across infrastructures. • Share and ensure adherence to Blue Dart brand guidelines through procurement and Operation teams. • Coordinate approvals with Lead - Brand Management for branding elements including signage, Vehicle branding, internal branding, collaterals, and facility branding. 4. Stakeholder Coordination • Act as a single point of contact between Marketing, Finance, Procurement, agencies, and vendors. • Ensure smooth communication, timely follow-ups, and resolution of operational issues. • Support marketing leadership with data, reports, and commercial insights for decision-making. Qualifications & Experience: Education • Master’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field. Experience • 2-4 years of relevant experience in marketing operations, procurement, finance coordination, or brand management support roles • Experience working with agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a corporate environment • Prior exposure to Logistics, FMCG, or service industries is preferred. Skills & Capabilities: Core Technical Skills • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and potentially Macros) is mandatory. • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and database management (SQL) is highly beneficial. Behavioural Competencies • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail. • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. • Creative thinking and an ability to translate data insights into actionable brand initiatives.
