Role Overview We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive professionals to join our Supply Chain – Procurement / Purchase team. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes, vendor relationships, and material planning to ensure smooth supply chain operations for consumer appliance components. Key Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end procurement and purchase operations for mechanical and electrical components. - Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. - Issue RFQs, quotations, and purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up for material deliveries. - Negotiate with suppliers on commercial terms, pricing, and lead times. - Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams for seamless material availability. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics for timely inbound flow. - Conduct cost analysis, support cost optimization initiatives, and track price trends. - Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and audit requirements. - Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor performance. - Support sourcing and new product development (NPD) initiatives as required. Required Skills & Qualifications - Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management. - Background in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain within Consumer Appliances or Tier-I OEM setups. - Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost structures. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities. - Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Zoho), and data handling. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and supplier ecosystems. - Strong coordination skills and ability to work under tight schedules.
