As a Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate Accounting at HP Inc., you will be responsible for providing highly innovative solutions and leading large, cross-functional teams that influence the organization's long-term goals. Your main role will involve collaborating with business finance and account management teams to ensure revenue recognition compliance with US SEC and US GAAP requirements. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: Responsibilities:- Provide complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, utilizing a unique understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.- Consult with business leaders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.- Lead and advise on complex business initiatives, typically overseeing several analysts across multiple areas within finance and geographies.- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives globally.- Identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development, engaging in the design.- Mentor and guide analysts to ensure operational and strategic plans are realized.- Provide information and counsel in areas such as controls, budgeting, planning, return on investment decisions, and overall business plans and strategies.- Represent the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.- Contribute innovative ideas, lead large cross-functional teams, and solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.- Act as a functional manager within your area of expertise, developing strategy and setting functional policy and direction. Specifically, you will be responsible for: - Providing technical accounting consultation and revenue guidance on complex customer contracts and business deals. - Monitoring new accounting pronouncements and determining related accounting, policy, and reporting impacts. - Maintaining up-to-date and comprehensive Revenue Recognition accounting policy in compliance with ASC 606. - Analyzing material nonstandard contracts and providing accounting dispositions. - Supporting external auditors in their revenue recognition audits. - Maintaining compliance with internal control procedures surrounding revenue recognition accounting and policy. - Reviewing accounting implications of emerging business models and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. - Providing ongoing support and training to finance teams. - Influencing and communicating HP policy updates. - Supporting ad hoc initiatives, such as acquired company policy integrations.

Qualifications
