Our client seeks a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their fully remote finance department. This role is critical in providing in-depth financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. You will be responsible for complex financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to financial planning and strategy in a dynamic, remote-first setting. Key Responsibilities: Developing sophisticated financial models to support business planning, investment analysis, and long-term forecasting. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods. Assisting in the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting activities. Identifying key financial trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing strategic recommendations to management. Conducting profitability analysis, cost-benefit analyses, and other ad-hoc financial projects. Collaborating with various departments to gather financial data and understand operational drivers. Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and financial regulations. Streamlining financial processes and improving the efficiency of reporting tools. Presenting financial information and insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels. Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging financial technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Professional certification such as CFA or CPA is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role is required. Proficiency in advanced Excel modeling, financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks), and BI tools is essential. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements is a must. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial for success in this remote role. This position is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, IN.
