About the Job: Rippling is hiring a Senior Fraud Risk Data Analyst with 3+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. The role focuses on protecting the company and customers from fraud, specifically during new customer onboarding. The analyst will develop fraud detection models, refine risk strategies, and ensure a seamless experience for legitimate users while mitigating fraud. Eligibility: • Minimum 3+ years as a data analyst in fraud, risk, or security functions. • Proficiency in SQL. • Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker. • Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders. • Familiarity with financial services, HR tech, or FinTech preferred. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Role and Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain fraud detection models and rules for onboarding workflows. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement risk controls and tools. • Use SQL and Python to identify fraud patterns and trends. • Lead investigations into fraud schemes and present findings to senior leadership. • Monitor KPIs and report on fraud losses, false positive rates, and team efficiency.
