As a pragmatic and visionary Senior Frontend Architect, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of a complex, high-traffic web platform. Your responsibilities will encompass defining the technical roadmap, architectural patterns (specifically Micro-Frontends), and best practices to ensure optimal performance, maintainability, and scalability across numerous teams. Key Responsibilities: - Architecture Design: Define the overall frontend architecture, primarily utilizing React and related frameworks, with a focus on transitioning to or maintaining a Micro-Frontend setup (e.g., utilizing Module Federation). - Performance Optimization: Establish and enforce best practices for Web Vitals, bundle size reduction, lazy loading, and overall rendering performance. - Tech Stack Ownership: Take charge of the selection and governance of frontend libraries, tooling, and build systems (Webpack, Vite). - Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to effectively translate requirements into robust technical designs. - Code Quality: Implement stringent coding standards, including unit testing (Jest/RTL), end-to-end testing (Cypress/Playwright), and design systems components. Required Skills: - Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React (hooks, context, state management). - Deep practical experience in designing and implementing Micro-Frontend architectures. - Solid understanding of modern CSS-in-JS solutions or CSS Modules. - Proven track record of optimizing frontend performance for large-scale applications. - Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (Next.js/Gatsby) is considered advantageous.
