W ... e are hiring a Senior Frontend Architect & Engineering Lead in India to own frontend architecture end-to-end and build a high-performing frontend team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with direct exposure to US leadership and strong influence on product direction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOwn the complete frontend architecture, including component systems, design systems, performance standards, and long-term scalability.Architect and build a modern enterprise UI from the ground up (no template-based frameworks).Lead 1–2 frontend engineers initially, scaling the team to 4–6 engineers over time.Define and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, code reviews, and best practices.Build real-time, data-heavy dashboards including charts, tables, timelines, and streaming updates.Translate complex enterprise workflows (incidents, alerts, services, runbooks, dashboards) into clear, intuitive user experiences.Collaborate closely with backend, DevOps, UI / UX, and product teams to ensure aligned architecture and seamless delivery.Drive interviewing, hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance development for the frontend team.Work directly with US-based leadership on architecture decisions, roadmap planning, and phased delivery.TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (Must-Have)Frontend & UI Architecture10–15+ years of frontend / UI engineering experience.Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, Next.js.Strong hands-on experience with :Tailwind CSSshadcn / ui or MUI (or equivalent component libraries)React Query / TanStack QueryTanStack Table (or MUI DataGrid)Recharts / ECharts (or similar visualization libraries)Proven experience building UIs that handle large datasets, real-time updates, and high-frequency events.Strong understanding of modular, scalable design systems and performance optimization.BACKEND INTEGRATION & PLATFORM EXPOSURESolid experience integrating frontend applications with complex enterprise APIs.Strong exposure to backend systems including :Python (FastAPI preferred)PostgreSQLOpenSearch / ElasticsearchHands-on experience with WebSockets / Server-Sent Events (SSE) for real-time UI updates.Familiarity with OIDC / OAuth2 / JWT-based authentication and RBAC models.LEADERSHIP & COMMUNICATIONPrior experience leading teams of 5–10 engineers.Extremely hands-on : architecture ownership, core module development, and code reviews.Strong written and spoken English, comfortable working directly with US stakeholders.Structured, calm problem-solver with strong analytical and mathematical thinking.Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.Good To HaveExperience with monitoring, observability, AIOps, or operations platforms, such as : Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, Kibana, Prometheus.Exposure to incident, alerting, logs, metrics, and service health workflows.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipelines.Exposure to AI / LLM-driven UX or AI-assisted workflows in enterprise products.Why This HaveArchitect a flagship enterprise UI from day one.High visibility and direct collaboration with senior US leadership.Opportunity to build and scale a world-class frontend team in India.Long-term growth within a revenue-backed, scaling global startup.
