Job Title : Senior Frontend Developer Location : Remote Employment Type : Full-time Role Type : Individual Contributor (IC) Role Overview :We are looking for a Senior macOS Engineer to design and build a native macOS desktop application using Swift. This role focuses on developing a high-performance, reliable, and state-driven desktop client used for long-running, professional workflows. The application is not a web wrapper and requires a deep understanding of macOS internals, native UI frameworks, and system-level behavior. Responsibilities : • Develop, and maintain a native macOS application using Swift • Architect state-driven UI and data flows for real-time and long-running workflows • Build responsive, dense desktop interfaces optimized for professional users • Handle background tasks, app lifecycle events, and offline / poor-network scenarios • Integrate real-time data streams (WebSockets, polling, background sync) • Ensure performance, memory efficiency, and system stability • Collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to define APIs and contracts • Own the macOS build, release, and distribution pipeline Requirements : • 3+ years of software development experience, with strong macOS native expertise • Proficiency in Swift and native macOS frameworks (AppKit and / or SwiftUI) • Experience building production-grade desktop applications • Solid understanding of macOS app lifecycle, concurrency, and persistence • Experience with networking, async programming, and real-time updates • Strong debugging, performance profiling, and problem-solving skills
