About the Role Our client, a profitable, fast-scaling creator SaaS platform, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer / Architect with 5–9 years of experience to take end-to-end ownership of a large-scale, consumer-facing web product. This role is for engineers who have built, scaled, broken, and rebuilt frontend systems used at real-world scale. You will own frontend architecture decisions, performance strategy, and long-term technical direction while working closely with product, design, backend, and leadership teams. As part of the YMinds.AI elite talent network, you will work directly with a high-impact product company operating at significant scale. Location: Remote Experience: 5–9 years Key Responsibilities• Own the entire web frontend architecture for a high-traffic, consumer-scale product.• Design and build highly performant, scalable, and resilient UI systems.• Translate ambiguous product requirements into clean, intuitive, production-ready user experiences.• Define and enforce frontend standards, best practices, and design systems.• Drive frontend performance optimization across Core Web Vitals, load times, and UX polish.• Make and defend critical architectural decisions impacting long-term scalability.• Collaborate deeply with Product, Design, Backend, and Leadership stakeholders.• Mentor frontend engineers and raise the overall engineering bar across the organization. Required Skills• 5–9 years of frontend engineering experience building production-grade web applications.• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.• Deep, hands-on experience with React.js, including hooks, internals, and performance tuning.• Strong experience with Next.js or SSR-based frameworks.• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale consumer-facing products.• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component systems, and state management patterns.• Excellent command over HTML, CSS, browser APIs, and rendering behavior. Preferred Skills (Signals of Excellence)• Led frontend development for a product from 0 → 1 or through rapid user growth. • Experience at top-tier product companies or high-growth startups. • Strong focus on performance, UX detail, and code quality. • Hands-on experience with design systems, Tailwind / CSS-in-JS. • Familiarity with React Query, Zustand, or similar state/data management tools. • Strong understanding of SEO, Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, and web accessibility.
