About Delivery Hero India Senior Frontend Engineer Role We seek seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer to lead high traffic consumer-facing web application architectures to optimize performance and mentor junior talent. Ideal candidate is an expert in Next.js and React, balancing beautiful UI, robust state management, and seamless backend integration. Keys Responsibilities: • Architecture Development • Lead design implementation of complex responsive features using Next.js and React • State Management Architect efficient data flow patterns using Redux and Redux Toolkit to handle complex application states • Performance Optimization Implement Core Web Vitals best practices including Server-Side Rendering, Static Site Generation, and advanced caching strategies • Full Stack Collaboration Utilize Node.js to interface, query/structure data from MySQL databases bridging the gap between frontend and backend • Code Quality Set standards for clean maintainable code, rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and documentation. Employee may also undertake duties as assigned based on business needs, position skills, and capabilities. Requirements: Experience Strong proficiency with modern web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and React. Recent experience with Hooks and Context API, functional components, REST, GraphQL, JSON, and HTTP Knowledge in OOP, TDD, Design Patterns, and Best Practices. Great team player works independently. Mentorship desire to share knowledge and elevate engineering standards. Problem solver with the ability to debug performance bottlenecks in a browser environment. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with agile methodologies, peer code reviews, and modern frontend development practices.
