About the Role Our US Client with offices present globally is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer / Web Developer to lead the design and development of scalable, high performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React, modern JavaScript, Server-Driven UI (SDUI), and GraphQL-based micro-frontend architectures. This role requires strong technical ownership, the ability to work independently end-to-end, and experience mentoring junior frontend engineers. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, modular, and high-quality frontend applications using React and JavaScript. • Implement Server-Driven UI (SDUI) patterns to enable dynamic UI rendering. • Build and integrate GraphQL APIs using Apollo GraphQL. • Design and implement Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures using GraphQL MFE and Webpack. • Lead frontend architecture decisions and provide technical guidance to the team. • Mentor junior frontend engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and best practices. • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code; ensure high code quality standards. • Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites. • Collaborate closely with backend, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Independently design, code, implement, review, and deploy frontend solutions. Primary Skills & Qualifications • 7+ years of professional experience in frontend/web development. • Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+). • Experience with Server-Driven UI (SDUI) implementations. • Strong expertise in GraphQL and Apollo GraphQL. • Hands-on experience with Micro Frontends (MFE), including GraphQL MFE and Webpack. • Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3. • Experience leading frontend initiatives and mentoring junior engineers. • Testing & Quality (Mandatory) • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium. • Strong experience with Unit & E2E testing frameworks: Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, Cucumber. • Cloud & DevOps Exposure • Exposure to Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and frontend build/deployment processes. Secondary / Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with Angular. • Exposure to performance optimization and accessibility standards. • Knowledge of modern frontend security best practices.
