Senior Frontend Platform Engineer TypeScript, Authentication & SDK Development: Role Overview We are hiring a Senior Frontend Platform Engineer with deep expertise in TypeScript and authentication systems to design and build scalable, reusable frontend SDKs used across web, mobile, and connected TV applications. This role requires hands-on experience building production-grade authentication flows and modular frontend architectures at scale. Candidates without direct experience in these areas will not be considered. Mandatory Technical Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Candidates must meet ALL of the following criteria: 6–9 years of hands-on experience building and shipping customer-facing frontend applications. Strong, production-level expertise in TypeScript. Advanced experience with React (functional components, hooks, context, performance optimization). Proven experience building reusable frontend SDKs, shared component libraries, or platform-level frontend systems. Direct experience implementing authentication systems including: • OAuth 2.0 • JWT-based authentication • SSO integration • Session/token lifecycle management Strong experience integrating backend services via REST and GraphQL APIs. Experience building applications used at scale (high-traffic, production environments). Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress or equivalent). Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and debugging in production. Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and structured release processes. Strong Git workflow experience in collaborative engineering teams. Experience working in cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Platform & Multi-Environment Experience (Mandatory) Experience developing for multi-platform environments (web + mobile web). Experience building frontend systems designed for reuse across applications. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles. Experience monitoring production logs, performance metrics, and resolving live production issues. Engineering Mindset Requirements Demonstrated ownership of features from design to deployment. Experience participating in architecture discussions and technical design reviews. Strong emphasis on writing clean, maintainable, testable code.
