Role Summary As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing robust, high-scale, and secure cost management platform—empowering businesses to track, manage, and optimize their cloud spend so they can stretch resources further. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to evolve the FinOpsly platform, implementing features that address critical cost KPIs for our customers. This role requires strong leadership in both the front-end and back-end domains, a passion for delivering top-tier user experiences, and a commitment to secure coding practices. What You’ll Do • Analyze requirements (scale, complexity, business goals) and choose the right technologies and patterns for performance, reliability, and developer efficiency. • Build and maintain Node.js applications (Express, NestJS) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular). Define APIs that meet front-end data needs, integrate with SQL/NoSQL databases, and optimize queries for speed and integrity. • Take full ownership of front-end development (React, Vue, or Angular) to deliver a cohesive user experience. • Create cohesive and responsive UIs, ensuring effective data flows, caching, and robust error handling. • Apply secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP) for authentication, authorization, and data handling, proactively identifying and addressing vulnerabilities. • Optimize front-end rendering (Next.js SSR/SSG) and backend APIs (Node.js/TypeScript) for efficiency and performance. • Implement scalable service and data interaction patterns for high-throughput SaaS workloads. • Collaborate with Data Engineering and DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployments. • Ensure iterative delivery while laying the foundation for long-term scalability. What You’ll Bring • 5+ Years of Full Stack Experience - Proven ability to build both front-end interfaces and Node.js-based back ends using frameworks, libraries, and tools in the Node.js ecosystem. • API Design Mastery - Skilled at creating RESTful or GraphQL services with clean, efficient data contracts. • Adept in SQL/NoSQL systems, schema design, and query optimization. Specifically, MPP databases like Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery. • Comfortable with secure coding, encryption, and modern auth strategies. Experience with testing frameworks, delivering maintainable, bug-free code. • Familiar with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD workflows. • Prior experience with app development in both JavaScript (front end) and PHP-based back ends. • Deep knowledge of SQL for crafting complex queries, building robust schemas, and ensuring data integrity. • Adept at working with numbers, leveraging this skill for data analysis, and applying logical reasoning to solve problems. • An eye for catching common sense errors in functionalities, numerical outputs, and user flows—ensuring quality at every step. • Capable of conveying complex technical topics to diverse audiences. Preferred: • Experience migrating legacy systems to modern stacks. • Familiarity with microservices, event-driven, or serverless architectures.
