As a Senior General Manager Construction (Township Development) at Jamnagar, your primary role is to lead all construction operations for a large-scale township development project. You will be responsible for ensuring timely, quality, and budget-compliant delivery. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing comprehensive construction plans, encompassing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation. - Leading, mentoring, and managing a multidisciplinary team of project managers, engineers, and supervisors. - Monitoring the execution of construction activities to enforce quality, safety, and regulatory standards. - Implementing and overseeing quality control measures, site audits, and regular inspections. - Managing project budgets, implementing cost-control measures, overseeing procurements, and managing vendor/subcontractor contracts. - Coordinating with architects, consultants, local authorities, and internal teams for project approvals, permits, and timely communication. - Addressing risks by developing mitigation strategies and ensuring project adherence to timelines and quality standards. - Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance on the site. Qualifications and Experience Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Minimum of 22 years of experience in large-scale construction, including real estate, township, and major residential projects. - At least 5 years of experience as a Site Construction Head managing medium to large projects (100-200 crore scale). - Deep knowledge of construction technology, contract management, QA/QC, HSE, NDT, billing, and infrastructure planning. - Experience with contract negotiation, vendor management, material control, statutory compliance, and survey practices. - Proven leadership, team-building, and communication skills in English and Hindi. Physical/Work Requirements: - Ability to inspect all areas of the site in variable weather conditions, including climbing ladders and scaffolding. - Prolonged standing and walking may be required. This role is ideal for senior construction leaders with extensive township and real estate project experience, ready to drive multi-crore developments from planning through completion.
