Job Title: Senior Growth Marketer Location: Office - Bangalore The Role This role is responsible for shaping how IPL builds and scales digital demand for its professional programmes. The position combines acquisition strategy, funnel design, segmentation and performance economics. It involves building growth systems, improving their efficiency, and influencing how working professionals discover, evaluate and choose. Core Responsibilities: Ownership • Set the acquisition plan for defined target segments and relevant channels. • Establish benchmarks for efficiency, qualification quality and channel contribution. System Building • Build repeatable growth workflows across paid search, paid social, retargeting, inbound, lifecycle communication and event-led funnels. • Structure experiments, measurement and reporting frameworks that become part of IPL’s growth model. Funnel & Experience • Improve enquiry and evaluation journeys through landing optimisation, messaging clarity and behavioural insights. • Collaborate with product, sales, content and brand teams on messaging, proof formats and landing environments. Lifecycle & Segmentation • Implement segmentation, scoring and CRM workflows that prioritise high-intent audiences and reduce friction across evaluation steps. Event-Led Contribution • Design events as measurable conversion channels with expected outcomes, not activities. • Integrate post-event journeys and reporting into the overall growth model. Economics & Discipline • Track CAC, CPQL, conversion rates, segment-level performance and attribution-based contribution. • Use cohort insights to make decisions on scaling, reallocating or pausing investments. Performance Mandate: • Higher qualified demand from defined segments, and • Improved acquisition efficiency over time. Measured through: • Segment-level qualified demand growth. • Enquiry-to-evaluation conversion improvement. • CPQL and CAC efficiency trends. • Drop-off reduction across key funnel stages. • Contribution of structured event workflows. • Incremental channel performance backed by attribution. Experience: • 3-6 years in growth, demand or performance roles for high-consideration categories (education, SaaS, career-tech, fintech, professional learning). • Direct responsibility for acquisition planning, funnel improvement and cost benchmarks. Competencies: • Strong judgement in channel planning and spend allocation. • Practical understanding of funnel diagnostics and behavioural analytics. • Ability to design experiments with measurable business impact. • Working knowledge of lifecycle workflows, CRM logic and scoring. • Ability to align messaging and landing decisions with product, content and brand teams. Tools: Exposure expected: Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, GA4, BI tools (Power BI/Looker), CRM and automation platforms (LeadSquared/HubSpot), experimentation tools, WhatsApp and email workflows. This role directly shapes: • Who IPL targets. • How IPL communicates value. • The growth systems and digital demand that support the institute long-term. It is not an execution role.
