🚀 Hiring: Senior Java Developers – Item Catalog Team (Bangalore, On-site) Location: Bangalore, India (5 days WFO – Bellandur) Positions: 5 Note: Only candidates currently based in Bangalore should apply. Relocation candidates will not be considered. Role Overview: We are looking for high-performing Java Developers to join our Item Catalog team, which powers the critical infrastructure that manages and links item data for millions of products. Your work ensures data integrity before it reaches customers and vendors.The ideal candidate is a Core Java expert with experience in Generative AI tools (like Copilot) to accelerate software development. Candidates must demonstrate coding proficiency both with and without AI assistance. Key Responsibilities: • Engineering: Build and maintain high-throughput OLTP systems and data pipelines within the Item Catalog ecosystem. • AI Integration: Use GenAI tools for system design, rapid prototyping, unit testing, and code optimization. • System Design: Architect scalable solutions using Java and Kafka for real-time data streaming and synchronization. • Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate linking and distribution of item data across the enterprise. • Collaboration: Participate in whiteboarding sessions and peer-to-peer coding on-site. Technical Requirements: • Java Expert: Strong understanding of Design Patterns, Multithreading, and Concurrency. • Messaging: Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture. • Database: Experience with high-volume OLTP systems and complex data modeling. • Cloud: Proficiency in Azure preferred (GCP or AWS also acceptable). • GenAI Proficiency: Ability to use AI tools for design, development, and testing. Hiring Process: • Glider Screening: Mandatory Java assessment (minimum 80%). • Virtual Technical Screening: For scores between 80-90%. • Virtual Client Interview: Focus on culture fit and collaboration. • On-Site Technical Evaluation: Deep-dive coding session in Bangalore (with and without GenAI tools). Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in Retail or E-commerce (Item/Catalog domain). • Strong adherence to core values and collaborative culture. • Availability to work on-site 5 days a week in Bangalore.
