The D. E. Shaw group is looking for a high-impact Senior Manager to lead, grow, and elevate our early-career talent pool within the International Human Resources Operations and Projects (IHOP) team. The team supports Global Recruitment and Core Human Resources teams across multiple geographies on critical and data-intensive tasks by delivering high-quality work products. WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY: - Drive people leadership and project management to scale a team of 15+ associates, interns, and contractors. - Oversee the full employee life cycle including hiring, onboarding, development, performance feedback, and retention. - Collaborate closely with functional leads to clarify work allocation. - Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance efficiency and consistency. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Basic qualifications: - 8 to 15 years of total experience, including at least 3 years in people management. - Proven ability to lead and develop early-career teams. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in stakeholder management and senior leadership engagement.
