About the job

Position Overview The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and integrating facility management, general administration, human resources, and industrial relations functions. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with statutory requirements, and the creation of a positive and productive work environment. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership while managing day-to-day operations across these domains. Key Responsibilities Facility Management • Strategic facility planning: Oversee infrastructure, office space utilization, and long-term facility needs. • Maintenance and safety: Ensure timely upkeep of premises, equipment, and compliance with health & safety standards. • Vendor and contract management: Negotiate and manage service providers (security, housekeeping, transport, catering). • Sustainability initiatives: Implement energy efficiency and environmental sustainability practices. General Administration • Operational oversight: Supervise administrative functions including logistics, supplies, and office operations. • Budget management: Control administrative costs and optimize resource allocation. • Policy implementation: Develop and enforce administrative policies and procedures. • Event and meeting coordination: Organize corporate events, workshops, and leadership meetings. Human Resources (HR) • Talent acquisition: Lead recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and onboarding. • Performance management: Drive appraisal systems, KPI tracking, and employee development. • Training and development: Design leadership programs, skill-building workshops, and succession planning. • Compensation and benefits: Oversee payroll, benefits, and employee welfare schemes. • Employee engagement: Foster a culture of collaboration, recognition, and retention. Industrial Relations (IR) • Union relations: Maintain constructive engagement with trade unions and employee representatives. • Conflict resolution: Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and disputes effectively. • Compliance with labor laws: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.). • Collective bargaining: Lead negotiations and settlements with unions. • Policy alignment: Ensure HR and IR policies are consistently applied across the organization. Qualifications • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. • 10–15 years of progressive experience in HR, IR, administration, and facility management. • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance frameworks, and industrial relations practices. • Proven track record in vendor management and union negotiations. • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Qualifications
