Function : Digital Marketing & Communications Reports To: Senior Associate Director – Digital Marketing Employment Type : Full-Time Experience The Digital Marketing function drives visibility, reputation, and lead generation across ISB’s flagship programmes, executive education offerings, and research platforms. ISB is seeking a high-calibre Senior Manager – Growth Marketing to lead the organic growth and digital asset strategy across two distinct but interconnected mandates: isb.edu — ISB’s research-driven content platform (launched 2024) — through best-in-class SEO, organic content strategy, paid branding, and site optimization. Secondary: Own the continuous improvement of ISB’s core digital properties — the main ISB School site and the Executive Education (ExecEd) site — ensuring they deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of technical depth (SEO architecture, GA4, CMS), strategic thinking, and growth-marketing execution. This role will collaborate closely with content, brand, faculty, IT and sales teams and will have direct influence & Impact on ISB’s digital footprint and reputation. ISB – Growth & SEO • Develop and execute a comprehensive ambitious SEO & AEO roadmap for discover.isb.edu — covering technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content clustering, and link acquisition. • Build strong topical authority in ISB’s key research domains (strategy, policy, entrepreneurship, operations) through structured strategy that is in tune with evolving entity, clustering and EEAT guidelines. • Action technical audits: crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, internal linking, and site speed optimisation interventions in partnership with the web development team. • Plan and execute paid branding campaigns (Google, LinkedIn) to amplify discover. • Design and monitor organic growth dashboards using GA4, GSC, and SEO platforms (SEMrush / Ahrefs / Screaming Frog) with clear KPIs: organic traffic, rankings, impressions, engagement, and conversions. ISB School & ExecEd Website Optimisation • Own the digital health and performance of isb.edu and the ExecEd microsite — managing updates, UX improvements, and conversion optimisation. • Define and maintain a structured content calendar for both sites, ensuring freshness, relevance, and SEO alignment across all pages. • Architect and maintain GA4 tracking across all three digital properties — ensuring event configuration, goal tracking, and attribution models are accurate and actionable. • Build executive-level source-of-truth dashboards and monthly reports linking organic/paid performance to business outcomes (enquiries, applications, programme enrolments). • Champion a data-first culture within the digital marketing team, regularly surfacing insights that inform content, UX, and channel strategy decisions. Lead and coach a small team of SEO/web specialists and manage agency/vendor relationships for SEO audits, content production, and paid media execution. Act as the digital marketing partner to the Research Communications, ExecEd, and Admissions teams — translating their goals into digital growth strategies. Stay ahead of algorithm updates, digital marketing trends, and competitive developments to ensure ISB maintains a best-in-class digital presence. Qualifications & Experience MBA or post-graduate degree in Analytics, Marketing, or a related field preferred. # Advanced certifications in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, any CMS, or SEMrush are a strong plus. Experience • 10–14 years of progressive digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior SEO / organic growth / web strategy role with strong technical expertise. • Demonstrated success in growing organic traffic and domain authority for content-heavy or institutional websites. • Prior experience in higher education, EdTech, professional services, is strongly advantageous. • Experience managing or launching new digital properties from an early-stage growth perspective is a distinct advantage. Deep expertise in GA4 — including custom event configuration, funnel exploration, attribution modelling, and Data Studio reporting. Advanced SEO proficiency: technical audits, structured data / schema, Core Web Vitals, E-E-A-T optimisation, and keyword strategy. Hands-on experience with SEO tools: Working knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or similar) including template structure, plugin management, and content workflow. Proficiency with Google Search Console, Tag Manager, and Looker Studio. Familiarity with paid digital platforms: Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations. Collaborative and cross-functional — able to work effectively with academic, editorial, and technical stakeholders. Entrepreneurial orientation: comfortable with ambiguity, able to set structure, and motivated by building from early stages.
