Job Description: Position Title: Senior Manager – Learning & Development Reason for Hiring Growth-driven role to support the expansion of language, culture, and soft-skills training verticals. The position requires a senior leader who can own end-to-end training delivery, strengthen quality frameworks, and drive revenue through strong client-facing engagement. D / CEO (Varun)• Weekly 1-on-1 reviews• Monthly leadership reviews• Ongoing coordination with Operations, Sales, and Employer Partnership teams Key Business Objective To design and implement a structured, outcome-driven Learning & Development system aligned with client expectations and business development requirements. Key Responsibilities & Milestones First 30 Days• Audit existing training systems, faculty quality, and delivery workflows• Meet employer partners to understand expectations and feedback• Establish structured client-facing reporting mechanisms• Create a 90-day training and technology integration roadmap First 90 Days• Launch enhanced training modules (Language, Culture & Soft Skills)• Introduce technology/AI-enabled tools to improve learner experience and trainer productivity• Run a pilot cohort with measurable learning outcomes• Present progress updates to clients and support business development pitches First 180 Days• Scale training delivery aligned with the BD pipeline• Build AI-enabled assessments and certification frameworks• Consolidate platforms into a unified training technology stack• Reduce operational workload by 20–30% through automation• Represent the organization in employer audits and onboarding sessions• Support BD teams with proposals and hiring of senior instructors Long-Term Vision (12+ Months) Build a fully operational, data-driven L&D and Client Success vertical delivering measurable learner outcomes, improved margins, and strong employer trust. Team & Stakeholder Management• Language trainers• Cultural & soft-skills trainers• Program leads• Junior operations assistants• Cross-functional coordination with Marketing, BD, Employer Partnerships, and Leadership teams Skills & Competencies• L&D Expertise: Curriculum design, assessments, certifications• Data & Analytics: KPI tracking, dashboards, reporting• Technology & AI: LMS platforms, digital classrooms, automation tools• Business Acumen: Cost optimization, forecasting, budgeting• Client & BD Facing: Strong presentation, communication, and relationship management skills Personality Traits Growth-oriented, analytical, tech-driven, resourceful, empathetic, and operationally rigorous. Working Model Flexible working model (Mumbai office + hybrid) Performance-linked vesting based on targets and tenure Career Progression• Head of Learning & Development (12–18 months)• Director – Global L&D & Employer Partnerships (24–36 months) Preferred Background Corporate L&D, international education, language institutes, employability training, staffing, universities, CSR skilling programs. International client exposure preferred.
