JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. Financial Planning & Analysis • Own Opex and Capex budgeting for the plant. • Track monthly/quarterly COGS, material & labour variances, and overall budget performance. • Present plant MIS including P&L, productivity metrics, and COGS. • Act as a business partner for overhead control and Capex validations. 2. Cost Accounting & Working Capital • Manage standard costing, batch costing, BOM analysis, and inventory valuation. • Monitor yield/time variances and finalize annual time & yield standards. • Oversee inventory controls, write-offs, ERP tracking (SAP/MS Dynamics). • Manage working capital: inventory, receivables/overdues, and waste reduction. 3. Compliance & Audit • Ensure IND AS, GST, TDS, PF, ESI compliance and pharma regulatory alignment. • Coordinate internal/external audits, including GMP-related documentation. • Ensure timely payments to MSMEs. • Maintain strong financial governance and risk controls. 4. Strategic Business Partnering • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Procurement. • Conduct Capex ROI analytics using NPV, IRR, DCF, Payback, etc. • Provide insights for make-vs-buy, outsourcing, and footprint optimization. 5. Operational Excellence & Digital Initiatives • Lead automation, BI tools, SAP S/4HANA, and digital finance improvements. • Support ESG/sustainability cost tracking. • Streamline reporting and enhance process robustness. 6. Team Leadership • Lead and mentor the plant finance team. • Foster compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement. 7. Closings & Statutory Processes • Oversee monthly, quarterly, annual closing—provisions, reconciliations, depreciation, amortization. • Manage statutory & tax audit coordination and compliance. 8. Internal Audit Management • Facilitate internal audits and implement corrective actions. 🔹 Competencies & Qualities • Strong decision-making, business acumen, problem-solving, and analytical ability. • Expertise in SAP, digital tools, MS Office, and financial modelling. • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. • Innovative thinking, accountability, team building, and coaching capability. • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed. 🔹 Ideal Candidate Profile • Qualification: CA / CMA • Experience: 10–14 years in plant finance, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
