Job Title: Senior Manager – Talent Development Location: Bangalore, India Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview The Senior Manager – Talent Development will lead a small, high-performing Talent Development team at Lumen. Drive strategic talent initiatives focused on leadership pipelines, succession planning, and long-term upskilling to elevate TD capabilities to world-class global standards. Seeking a proven leader with experience transforming TD functions, aligning programs with business growth, and delivering measurable talent outcomes in technical domains like cloud, AI/ML, and data analytics.Key Responsibilities• Lead and inspire a compact TD team through executive coaching, performance leadership, and strategic talent road mapping to build organizational leadership depth.• Champion talent assessments and high-potential identification; architect leadership development programs• Forge executive partnerships with business leaders to shape talent strategies, track leadership metrics, and provide support in re-designing their learning programs to sustain the changes and ensure they continuously have the experience they need to meet their evolving skilling ambitions.• Design and shape the end-to-end learning & development solutions and implements agile and data-led learning practices to the design and creation of learning content and learning experience tools and enablers (assessments, reports, comms, feedback loops, etc.) to drive continuous learning performance improvement.• Supports the Engineering divisions to understand how they can re-design their learning programs to sustain the changes and ensure they continuously have the experience they need to meet their evolving skilling ambitions.• Implements learning solutions, which includes curating learning journeys, creating immersive learning, deploying learning technology solutions, conducting skill assessment, measuring the impact of learning, and more.• Direct TD governance including budgets, enterprise succession frameworks, and cultural change leadership; elevate performance systems and high-potential acceleration.• Monitor TD trends, innovate strategies (e.g., personalized coaching, digital talent platforms), and deliver executive reports on talent pipeline health.Qualifications• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; along with any relevant certifications.• Minimum 15 years in Talent Development, L&D, or OD at tech companies with robust processes—including 5+ years leading teams—with a track record of elevating TD maturity globally and prioritizing long-term talent strategies• Ability to design and deliver compelling, high-energy learning products engage and empower a technically skilled audience.• Expertise managing small teams in dynamic environments; strong emphasis on leadership development, succession, potential assessment, and strategic talent initiatives.• Business understanding, customer centricity, learning agility, problem solving and analytical skills.• Excellent communication, influencing, presentation and project management skillsWhy Join Us?• Architect Learning Experiences That Transform Performance and drive Enterprise‑Wide Capability Building.• Thrive in an inclusive, collaborative environment prioritizing well-being and growth.• Enjoy competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and robust career advancement pathways.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fair and ethical hiring practices.
