Position: Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager Stowage Planning and vessel Operations Location: Mumbai, India Salary: INR 50-60 lacs per annum The Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager Stowage leads and oversees the global stowage planning function to ensure safe, efficient, and commercially optimized vessel stowage across the fleet. This role is responsible for managing a team of stowage planners across 3 locations, driving process and system improvements, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to support operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high vessel utilization. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Logistics, or related field. • At least 10+ years of experience in stowage planning, marine operations, or related operational shipping functions. • Strong understanding of vessel stability, container and breakbulk cargo handling operations and terminal operations. • Ability to respond to operational situations across multiple time zones, when required. • Less experienced candidate will be considered for Senior Manager position • Strong knowledge of IMDG, stability, DG segregation, OOG & reefer planning • Commercial and cost-optimization mindset • Stakeholder management across terminals, ports, JV partners, and HQ.
