Senior MERN Stack Developer, 5-8 yrs exp , Kochi Job Location: Infopark, Kochi Experience Required: 5 – 8 Years Job Summary The role involves end-to-end development of web applications, backend architecture, team mentoring, and technical decision-making. The candidate will play a key role in guiding development teams and ensuring high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack(MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) • Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and NestJS • Implement server-side rendering and performance optimization using Next.js • Build responsive and reusable frontend components • Lead and manage a team of developers, including task allocation and progress tracking • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices • Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior team members • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams, and project managers • Participate in architecture design, sprint planning, and technical discussions • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions Required Technical Skills • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in MERN Stack development • Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js • Experience with NestJS framework • Solid knowledge of Next.js (SSR, SSG, routing, optimization) • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript • Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices • Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices • Strong understanding of databases, data modeling, and query optimization • Experience with Git and version control workflows Additional Skills (Added Advantage) • Working knowledge of Angular • Experience with Vue.js • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Proven experience in team leadership and technical mentoring • Ability to conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops • Experience in onboarding and guiding junior developers • Strong communication and coordination skills Interested candidates are requested to share their updated resumes to amarragi@affable.in or contact 9048151003
