Senior MERN Stack Developer

About the job

We are looking for a Senior MERN Stack Developer with strong experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across the full stack, leading technical decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs • Develop responsive and reusable UI components using React.js • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams • Review code, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices • Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Required Skills & Qualifications • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) • Extensive experience with React.js, including hooks and state management • Solid backend experience with Node.js and Express.js • Strong knowledge of MongoDB and database design • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs • Familiarity with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design • Ability to work independently and in a team environment Good to Have (Preferred Skills) • Handled a team is the added advantage • Experience with TypeScript • Knowledge of Next.js, Redux, or Context API • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
