About the Role We are looking for a Senior Mutual Fund Analyst to research, analyze, and monitor mutual fund schemes across equity, debt, and hybrid categories. The role involves performance evaluation, portfolio analysis, and generating actionable insight to support investment decisions and advisory recommendations. Key Responsibilities - Analyze mutual fund schemes across Equity, Debt, Hybrid & Thematic categories - Meet prospective and existing clients to understand their financial goals, risk appetite, and investment horizon - Recommend suitable mutual fund schemes (Equity, Debt, Hybrid) based on client profiling - Track fund performance vs benchmarks and peer groups - Evaluate fund managers' strategies, portfolio holdings, risk metrics & consistency - Prepare research notes, fund fact sheets, and investment recommendations - Conduct SIP, lump-sum, and asset allocation analysis for clients - Maintain and update internal MF research databases Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field - NISM Series V-A (Mandatory or willing to clear within 3 months) - Strong understanding of capital markets and mutual fund structures - Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, charts, data analysis) - Knowledge of tools like Morningstar, Value Research, or similar platforms (preferred) Skills & Competencies - Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Ability to interpret financial ratios and performance metrics - Excellent presentation and report-writing skills - Attention to detail and research-oriented mindset - Good communication skills (written & verbal) Preferred (Good to Have) - CFA Level I / II candidate - Prior experience in AMC, RIA, wealth management, or PMS - Basic understanding of taxation related to mutual funds - Experience creating client-ready investment reports What We Offer - Exposure to real-world investment decision-making - Learning & certification support - Growth path into Senior Analyst / Fund Strategist roles - Performance-based incentives
