In this role as a Senior Principal Product Operations Manager at Novartis, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of product operations to ensure the successful delivery of life-changing medicines to patients in need. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and managing all aspects of product operations, including planning, development, implementation, and maintenance. - Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products and the ongoing management of existing products. - Developing and implementing strategies to improve product operations and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. - Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process optimization. - Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure products are manufactured, packaged, and distributed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards. - Managing and mentoring a team of product operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to drive individual and team development. - Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to product operations, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business objectives. - Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services. - Overseeing budgeting and forecasting for product operations, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. - Staying informed of industry trends and best practices in product operations and making recommendations for implementing new technologies and processes to drive innovation and efficiency.
