Role Description This is an opportunity for a Senior Product Engineer specializing in Node.js and AWS hyperscalers. The candidate will work on product engineering, design, and implementation of advanced software solutions for the AI aggregator platform. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting research and development, and optimizing product performance. Responsibilities and Qualifications • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, production-grade Node.js applications • Own end-to-end backend architecture, from API design to deployment and monitoring • Build and integrate RESTful and WebSocket APIs with third-party services including AWS services, OpenAI APIs, and other cloud providers • Work extensively with AWS ecosystem (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, IAM) for scalable backend solutions • Implement scalability and performance optimizations using Node.js cluster module, worker threads, and load-balancing strategies • Handle high-concurrency and high-throughput systems, ensuring low latency and system stability • Design and manage asynchronous processing, queues, background jobs, and event-driven workflows • Implement fault-tolerant and resilient systems, including retries, back-pressure handling, and graceful degradation • Optimize application performance through profiling, memory management, and CPU utilization analysis • Ensure secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and API security • Manage production deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and environment configurations • Monitor production systems using logs, metrics, and alerts; perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents • Collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers on production standards and performance considerations
