Our client, a leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to drive product strategy and innovation. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to shape the future of our product portfolio from **Dehradun, Uttarakhand, IN**, or any location. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, developing roadmaps, and leading cross-functional teams to launch successful products that meet market demands and consumer needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the FMCG market, strong strategic thinking, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to deliver impactful product initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps for assigned FMCG product lines. • Conduct market research, consumer insights analysis, and competitive landscape assessments to identify new product opportunities and market trends. • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on consumer needs and business objectives. • Lead the product lifecycle from ideation and development through launch and post-launch optimization. • Collaborate closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization. • Develop compelling product positioning and go-to-market strategies. • Manage product P&Ls, track performance against key metrics, and identify opportunities for growth. • Analyze sales data, consumer feedback, and market performance to inform product decisions and iterations. • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to the FMCG sector. • Present product strategies, business cases, and performance updates to senior management and stakeholders. • Mentor junior product management team members and foster a collaborative product development environment. • Ensure products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the product portfolio. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. • An MBA or equivalent is highly preferred. • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on the FMCG sector. • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing FMCG products that have achieved significant market success. • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the FMCG value chain. • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. • Proficiency in market research tools and data analysis techniques. • Experience with product lifecycle management and stage-gate processes. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote environment. • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. • Passion for consumer products and a keen understanding of brand building.
